Staff SMS Terms
Effective October 4, 2026
Program and eligibility
Riders First Staff SMS Verification delivers one-time authentication codes to active, authorized Admin and Coach staff. Codes are requested during phone-factor enrollment or staff sign-in verification. Enrollment in this SMS program does not create a staff account or grant staff permissions.
Enrollment and consent
Before enrollment, staff review these Terms, the Staff SMS Privacy Policy and the separate consent form. Staff choose whether to consent and sign the form if they agree. The Owner/Admin records the consent privately and confirms the receiving number belongs to the staff member before enrolling that number in the existing authenticated MFA flow. Consent is specific to verification SMS; it does not authorize marketing, email, calls or rider notifications. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
Frequency and charges
Message frequency varies based on your enrollment and sign-in requests and applicable security limits. Message and data rates may apply through your mobile carrier. Contact your carrier for information about your plan.
Opt-out and help
Reply STOP to the sending number to opt out of verification texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact coaches@riders-first.com. Opting out does not disable MFA requirements or grant staff access; SMS verification may remain unavailable until you opt back in through the supported process. Reply START to the same sending number to restore delivery after an opt-out. Initial staff consent must still be recorded before enrollment.
Security
Do not share verification codes, passwords or session tokens. Enter codes only in the trusted staff sign-in or approved test screen that initiated the challenge. Only successful native Supabase verification establishes the required MFA assurance; receiving a text does not itself grant access. Report unexpected messages or a lost/reassigned phone number promptly. Existing role/status and server-side authorization checks continue to apply.
Delivery
Delivery depends on the messaging provider, mobile carrier and device. Delivery may be delayed or unavailable; carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. An accepted send request does not guarantee delivery or successful authentication. The program does not automatically retry a failed or uncertain delivery. New requests remain subject to security controls and any owner-controlled test limits.
Privacy and contact
The Staff SMS Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Questions about enrollment, delivery, opting out or these Terms should be sent to coaches@riders-first.com. These Terms are effective October 4, 2026. Material changes and the updated effective date will be shown on this page.
